Albert Pujols has seen his season fall apart in the second half

Albert Pujols had a .255 batting average and 26 home runs in the first half, but only has a .233 batting average and eight home runs in the second half. Pujols does have 50 extra-base hits for the season, but had a .642 OPS in August. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Pujols looked like a top-five 1B for the season after building on his OPS in each of the first three months of the season, but his second half drop off has demolished his stock. He should still start for fantasy owners, and is one of three 1B with 30 home runs, but owners cannot rely on him for much more than his power potential.
