Prince Fielder homers in victory Tuesday

Fielder hit a two run Home Run in the first inning Tuesday off San Diego Padres starter Andrew Cashner. The Homer was just his third in the last 30 games. Despite his struggles the Rangers have managed to stay in the thick of the AL playoff race.
Fantasy Impact:
Over the last 30 games Fielder has seen his average drop over 20 points to .317. Heading into August Fielder was on pace to hit for the highest average of his Career. We see it month in and month out, something as simple as as the flipping of the calendar into a new month can solve a MLB players woes. Fielder is too good of a player to continue slumping. Look for him to make a big push down the stretch. He should continue to be active in all leagues.
