Chris Davis hits 36th home run in blowout loss

by Jack Keenan | Wed, Sep 2nd 12:54pm EDT

The Orioles were anialated by the Rays Tuesday night to the score of 11-2. A lone bright spot for the club was that Chris Davis was able to pad his numbers by hitting his 36th home run of the year in the ninth inning. It was his only hit of the night and accounted for the only two runs the Orioles could muster. He now has 94 RBIs on the year.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis has had a rough couple of weeks so hopefully this home run will help boost his confidence. He is a power threat every time he steps up to the plate so keeping him in your fantasy roster is not a bad bet. He is also one of very few Orioles worth taking a chance on in daily fantasy leagues. Keep an eye out to see if Davis can turn this into a hot streak or if this was just an anomaly.
