Jordan Zimmermann started off with an uncharacteristic lack of control, so the only run he gave up came via a walk, balk, wild pitch and groundout. With the game a blowout, Zimmermann was lifted after six innings to conserve his arm. Final line: 6 IP 2H 1ER 4W 5SO (87 pitches, Game Score 65).
Fantasy Impact:
Zimmermann (12-8, ERA 3.38) is a solid but not spectacular choice for fantasy, especially with the level of run support he is getting from the Nationals' now-potent offense.
