Jon Lester picks up his first win of the month

Jon Lester only lasted five innings, but it was enough to secure a win with the high powered Cubs offense behind him. Lester gave up two earned runs off of five hits and two walks. He struck out three batters on a total of 91 pitches.
Fantasy Impact:
A win is always nice to see, especially when a pitcher has gone three starts without one, this was not a particularly encouraging effort against a Paul Goldschmidt-less Arizona squad. Lester has not been going deep into games and manager Joe Maddon has not let Lester throw more than 100 pitches in his last four starts. While this start was an improvement over his last, Lester still has some work to do before he can be trusted in fantasy.
