Keeping to center field during Tuesday evening's 4-0 series shutout loss to the Oakland Athletics, Carlos Gomez went 1-for-4 with an early 2nd inning double. He also tallied a pair of ground outs and a strikeout in the game. Gomez has kept his average steady at .252 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The veteran outfielder is making his strides at the plate and on the base paths. It's hard to say how long it will last, since he is a bit streaky. However, he will be needed for some clutch plays going into October. Fantasy holders can do with Gomez what they wish.
