Colby Rasmus gets a pair of hits in Sunday win

by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Mon, Sep 14th 9:36am EDT

Starting at center field during Sunday afternoon's 5-3 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Angels, Colby Rasmus went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles. He also tallied a line out and a ground out collectively in the game. Rasmus has made a nice climb in his average, back up now to .231 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

With Gomez ailing, Rasmus has returned to play the outfield corner he is most comfortable with. It is unclear how long he will man center, but the veteran outfielder is expected to keep making the necessary plays as the playoffs quickly approach. Fantasy holders should keep a close eye on Rasmus as the 2015 season draws to a close.
