Clay Buchholz could return before the end of season

Clay Buchholz (elbow) could return before the end of the season. Red Sox president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski late last month essentially ruled Buchholz out for the year, but it appears the righty still has a shot to make it back. Buchholz is currently throwing from 105 feet and will soon go to 120 feet before then trying things off a mound. (Boston Herald)

Fantasy Impact:

The is no real reason for the Red Sox to rush back Clay Buchholz to pitch at the end of the season. If he does come back it will be limited innings. Buchholz has no fantasy value for this year but will be someone to look at in deeper leagues in 2016.
