Brett Anderson allowed two earned runs, seven hits, and struck out seven in six innings Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies. 57-of-78 pitches were thrown for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
The seven strikeouts were the most in a game since July 1, when Anderson struck out seven Diamondbacks. You are probably not using Anderson in fantasy, but if you are, just know what you are getting into. Anderson can eat innings, but won't strike out many. He will issue walks and give up hits, but he's been pretty effective limiting damage. He's allowed more than three earned runs three times all year.
