Mike Fiers allowed two runs on five hits in six innings against the Athletics on Friday. He had one walk and six strikeouts in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Both of the runs Fiers allowed on Friday came from solo-homers in the fourth inning, but it was smooth sailing otherwise. Fiers has been a comforting, consistent presence for Houston since joining the team in August, and it has been great for fantasy owners as they don't have to worry about a massive blowup from this kind of pitcher. Fiers should be active in all fantasy formats.
