Madison Bumgarner strikes out seven in loss

San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner took the loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday after giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits over eight innings pitched. Bumgarner also walked three and struck out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
According to ESPN Stats and Info (@ESPNStatsInfo), Bumgarner has the most losses (3) in the MLB when going 8 IP and giving up two earned runs or fewer. It would have been hard for him to improve off his last outing where he had a near perfect game giving up only one hit against the San Diego Padres. This was another quality start for Bumgarner and there's no reason to expect any less from him after what he's done the past month.
