Hunter Pence could return late in season

San Francisco Giants OF Hunter Pence is improving from an oblique injury that landed him on the DL on August 17th. Pence has continued to up his exercise and take swings, but has yet to hit off a tee. (MlB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
If the Giants are still in postseason contention, it is possible Pence will return by September 28th when the Giants start a home series against the LA Dodgers then the Colorado Rockies. There is no rush in the Giants organization to get him back on the field. This late in the season it's hard to see Pence making any sort of fantasy impact for a last week comeback in your fantasy league.
