Mike Trout and Albert Pujols hit back-to-back homers in the first inning and the Angels held on for an important 4-3 victory over the Astros.

Albert Pujols broke out of his slump against the Astros last night in Houston. He went 2-4 with a single and a home run. Pujols has had a historically bad September only batting .162. This was a huge win that the Angels needed to keep pace with the Astros for the wild card. They face the Astros again today with Mike Fiers pitching for Houston.
