by Marc Walton | Mon, Sep 28th 11:46pm EDT
Marco Estrada registered another strong start, as he went 7 1/3 innings against the Baltimore Orioles, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits, while striking out two. Cecil came on in relief of Estrada in the eighth inning of a 4-4 ballgame, before the Jays put the winning run across in the ninth.
Fantasy Impact:
All indications have pointed towards Estrada being the fourth starter for the Jays in the playoffs. He has put together a career year going 13-8 so far with a 3.15 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 122 strikeouts in 174 1/3 innings pitched. Estrada has one start left as he will toe the rubber against the Tampa Bay Rays on the road this Saturday.
