Thairo Estrada signs one-year deal with Rockies

Thairo Estrada has agreed to a one-year, $3.25 million deal with the Colorado Rockies. It includes a mutual option in 2026 with a $750,000 buyout. (Mark Feinsand on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Estrada is coming off of a down season with the Giants in 2024 where he hit .217 with 9 home runs and a .256 wOBA, putting him in the bottom 1% of baseball. He'll get a fresh start with the Rockies where he is likely currently penciled in as the opening day second baseman.
