Clayton Kershaw only pitched 3 2/3 innings Sunday against the San Diego Padres. He allowed two hits and struck out seven to collect his 301st strikeout of the season. 43-of-60 pitches were thrown for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
This is the first year that Kershaw has eclipsed the 300 strikeout barrier and first year he will finish as the MLB strikeout leader. For 2015, Kershaw finished with a 2.13 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, 301 strikeouts and 42 walks in 232 2/3 innings.
