David Ortiz finishes with 37 home runs

Friday in Boston's season ending series in Cleveland David Ortiz drove in his 37th and final home run of the year. Ortiz's final line for 2015 stands at .273/.360/.553 with 37 HR's and 108 RBI's. This was the third year in a row that Ortiz has topped the 30 HR, 100 RBI mark.
Fantasy Impact:
Eventually father time has to catch up with David Ortiz who more or less posted numbers in line with his career average in 2015, his age 39 season. His lack of a position hurts his fantasy appeal somewhat, but when you consider who probably filled your DH or U spot this season Ortiz's production looks pretty good. That being said, you always want to proceed with caution when drafting a 40 year old DH when there may be players available to fill a more pressing position.
