On Sunday, Granderson boarded the team bus with his left hand heavily wrapped. According to team sources, "it is merely tape for Granderson's banged-up thumb, but that he will be fine and lead off in Game 1 of the World Series." (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
The Mets will need Granderson's bat against the Kansas City Royals. Their top two aces are right-handed, and Granderson will have a platoon advantage against them. He could have a big series, as Kansas City is a renowned hitter's park.
