The Dodgers have signed RHP Hisashi Iwakuma to a three-year, $45 million free-agent contract. Iwakuma had spent the previous four seasons with the Mariners after making the jump to the majors from Japan. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Los Angeles missed on several higher-profile SPs, but Iwakuma should still provide solid value. He'll remain in a pitcher's park, but he gets a boost in win opportunities playing for a stronger team moving forward. He should be a great fantasy asset for ERA and WHIP, though he doesn't strike out a ton of batters (7.6 K/9 over career).
