Blue Jays left-hander Patrick Corbin pitched six innings of one-run ball while earning the win over the Pirates on Saturday.

Corbin delivered his best start of the season on Saturday, limiting the Pirates to five hits, and he did not walk a batter against his seven strikeouts on the evening. He earned his second win of the season in the process while also earning his first quality start of the season as he completed six innings for the first time this season in this one. The veteran will carry a healthy 3.86 ERA into his next scheduled start, which is set for Thursday against the division-rival Orioles in Baltimore.
