Chris Paddack hit with loss Saturday versus Cardinals

by Brenton Kemp | Reds Correspondent | Sun, May 24th 12:20pm EDT

Reds right-hander Chris Paddack allowed three earned runs on seven hits and three walks in five innings while taking the loss Saturday versus the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

Paddack was uneven in this one, allowing seven hits and three walks to go along with five strikeouts in his five innings of work. On the positive side, none of the seven hits allowed went for extra bases, and he battled enough to give his team a chance to win. Unfortunately, the Reds offense ponied up just one run in this one in an eventual 8-1 loss. The veteran has allowed five earned runs in 10 innings across two starts since joining the Reds. He lines up to take on the Braves at home next weekend.
