Jacob deGrom throws six shutout innings in fifth win

DeGrom is 3-1 with a 1.28 ERA and 43 strikeouts across 35.2 innings in six home starts this season, compared to a 3.18 ERA and 0.99 WHIP overall. He has not allowed a home run in back-to-back outings after surrendering 13 across his first 11 starts, and faces a Red Sox lineup that ranks last in MLB in home runs in his next road start.
