Victor Mederos picks up first career save

Victor Mederos gave up no runs, one hit, and a walk while striking out one across 2 1/3 innings to earn the save in Monday's 3-2 win over the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Mederos gave the Braves a tremendous effort out of the bullpen Monday night, preserving a one-run lead over the final two-plus innings to earn the first save of his career. Mederos has been proving himself in the opportunities he's had for the Braves so far, allowing only one run in 9 1/3 innings over five appearances in the bigs this year. The Braves may have themselves yet another reliable, high-leverage arm for their bullpen.
