Jack Perkins fights control in no-decision against Mariners
by Chris Schommer | Athletics Correspondent |
Jack Perkins allowed three earned runs on four hits and five walks while striking out seven over three innings in Thursday's win over the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Perkins continues a dismal stretch of late, walking four or more batters in each of his last three trips to the mound. The right-hander remains another underwhelming arm in the Athletics rotation despite flashing elite swing-and-miss stuff at times for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 6.50 ERA and 1.54 WHIP with a 3-10 record, .822 OPS allowed, and 10.6 K/9 ratio across 33 appearances.
