Ryan Johnson sharp on mound in loss to Pirates
by Chris Schommer | Angels Correspondent |
Ryan Johnson allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings in Friday's 1-0 loss to the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson continues a strong stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in each of his last six contests. The right-hander has turned around a brutal early-season stretch as part of a dismal Angels rotation for manager Kurt Suzuki, posting a 5.17 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with a 3-8 record and 1.5 K/BB ratio through 18 appearances.
