Jeffrey Springs cruises through seven scoreless in win over Mariners
by Chris Schommer | Athletics Correspondent |
Jeffrey Springs allowed two hits and two walks while striking out six over seven innings in Saturday's win over the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Springs has provided mixed results of late, allowing four earned runs or more in two of his last four trips to the mound. The left-hander remains another disappointing arm as part of a dismal Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 4-13 record, 7.2 K/9 ratio, and .853 OPS allowed with a 6.02 ERA and 1.45 WHIP across 26 starts.
