Tyler Mahle gives the Braves another strong effort
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent |
Tyler Mahle allowed two runs (zero earned) on just four hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings in Sunday's 5-4 win against the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Mahle fell behind early in this one, as an error allowed the Phillies to bring home two runs in the first inning. Mahle settled right back in after that, rolling off five scoreless frames. The veteran righty has proven to be a sensational trade-deadline acquisition for the Braves, turning in a microscopic 1.24 ERA and 0.94 WHIP through six starts since. He'll square off with the Phillies again next weekend in Atlanta.
