Grant Holmes turns in six shutout innings Monday
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent |
Grant Holmes allowed just three hits and two walks while striking out six across six shutout innings in Monday's 1-0 loss to the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Holmes pitched plenty well enough to win Monday's game, in what turned out to be a stellar showdown on the mound against Jesus Luzardo. Holmes has been excellent on the mound since the beginning of August, posting a 2.27 ERA and 1.07.WHIP with 23 strikeouts across 35 2/3 innings. He'll face the Phillies again this weekend in Atlanta.
