Dylan Cease fights command in no-decision against Athletics
by Chris Schommer | Blue Jays Correspondent |
Dylan Cease allowed four earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in Monday's loss to the Athletics.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease continues a strong stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in seven of his last nine trips to the mound. The right-hander offers manager John Schneider one of the few dynamic arms in the Blue Jays rotation late in the season, carrying a 2.40 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with a 10-5 record and 12.7 K/9 ratio across 27 starts.
