Cristopher Sanchez bailed out by bats in Wednesday's win
by Nate Miller | Phillies Correspondent |
Cristopher Sanchez allowed six runs on 10 hits and no walks while striking out three across six innings in Wednesday's 11-7 win over the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Sanchez was hit hard by the Astros on Wednesday, as the Phillies were actually trailing 6-5 going into the bottom of the sixth inning. However, a six-run frame for Philly broke the contest open, and Sanchez ultimately picked up his NL-leading 17th victory of the season. The All-Star lefty has just five losses through 30 starts, sporting a 2.79 ERA with 210 strikeouts across 187 1/3 innings. All three of those marks place inside the Top 10 in the bigs.
