Fantasy Impact:
Valdez sustained a hamstring injury while running the bases on Friday. The rookie slugger had to be helped off the field, and it appears likely that he will miss a bit of time. This is certainly a tough blow for the Pirates, who just got Ryan O'Hearn back from the IL. Valdez sports an .855 OPS with 17 homers through 72 games this season.
