by Chris Schommer | Blue Jays Correspondent |
Max Scherzer allowed for six earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out three over five innings in Friday's loss to the Orioles.
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer continues a steady stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in five of his last eight trips to the mound. The veteran right-hander has turned around his early season struggles on the mound in the Blue Jays rotation for manager John Schneider, posting a 6.38 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with a 2-8 record and 1.8 K/BB ratio through 15 starts.
