Troy Melton labors early in no-decision against Blue Jays
by Chris Schommer | Tigers Correspondent |
Troy Melton allowed two earned runs on five hits and four walks while striking out three over 2 2/3 innings in Monday's win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Melton has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in four of his last five trips to the mound. The right-hander remains one of the more reliable arms in a revamped Tigers rotation late in the season, carrying a 2.52 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with an 8-4 record and 7.3 K/9 ratio across 19 starts.
