Kenley Jansen escapes with save as Tigers edge Blue Jays
by Chris Schommer | Tigers Correspondent |
Kenley Jansen struck out one batter while allowing one walk in a scoreless frame to earn the save in Monday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Jansen continues a strong stretch out of the bullpen of late, holding opponents scoreless in each of his last 10 contests. The right-hander has struggled with inconsistent command throughout the season as part of a disappointing Tigers bullpen for manager AJ Hinch, posting a 3.43 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with 20 saves, one hold, and a 10.3 K/9 ratio across 47 appearances.
