Carlos Santana could bat leadoff

Indians' manager Terry Francona admitted that he is thinking about batting Carlos Santana at the top of the lineup. (Nick Camino on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It is not surprising that a change to the batting order is being contemplated with Michael Brantley like to miss the start of the season and with Carlos Santana's disappointing production from the cleanup spot. Jason Kipnis was a revitalized player in 2015 when he was moved to the top of the lineup but he will probably need to drop down into the three hole usually occupied by Brantley. Santana has taken 312 walks over the last three years so his on-base skills could be an interesting weapon for the Indians at the top of the order. The switch-hitting Santana led the Indians with 19 home runs and surprisingly stole 11 bases.
