Jose Reyes placed on paid leave after domestic violence incident

Jose Reyes has been placed on paid leave until his domestic violence proceedings in Hawaii are completed. The proceeds will begin on April 4. (USA Today)

As such, he will not be reporting to Spring Training with his teammates on Wednesday. On Oct. 31, Reyes was arrested after being accused of grabbing his wife's throat and pushing her into a sliding glass door in the midst of an argument. He pleaded not guilty. Regardless, the 32-year-old four-time All-Star won't be able to play anytime soon.
