Nelson Cruz likely to see more time at DH

Fantasy Impact:
Cruz enjoys playing the field and seems to perform better at the plate when he does. However, the Mariners have Nori Aoki, Leonys Martin, Franklin Gutierrez, and Seth Smith that will man the outfield the majority of the time. The most important thing for the Mariners is to keep Cruz healthy and using him at designated hitter is the most obvious option to accomplish that goal. He will still see some time in the outfield but it is unlikely he plays in the field more than he did in 2015 (80 games). Cruz proved that his power travels well to all parks and is a solid high-end fantasy outfielder, especially for owners who seek power production.
