Ian Desmond doubles in Rangers debut

Ian Desmond made his Rangers debut Friday but not at shortstop. Desmond played LF Friday where he is expected to play until Josh Hamilton returns from a knee injury.
Fantasy Impact:
Desmond playing LF Friday marked just the third time he has played the outfield in his big league career. Ian has a lot to learn defensively this spring training but hopefully his offense won't suffer. Friday didn't appear to be that way as Desmond went 1-for-3 with a double. Keep an eye on Desmond in your drafts because he will be OF and SS eligible which makes him a versatile player in your lineup.
