Stephen Strasburg

Strasburg showed flashes of late-season dominance in early March

Strasburg strikes out five in just 2-IP in his first start in Spring Training. With his curve ball on point and his change up creating the fruitless swings, Strasburg looked a lot like he did to end the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Strasburg looked like his normal dominate self again. Last year was a struggle due to injury. After battling injuries for the first half of 2015, Strasburg was outstanding in the last two months. His 1.90 ERA and 92 strikeouts to eight walks over the final 10 starts. Barring any injury look for him to continue to dominate. With his ADP at #44 he is worth taking with your 3rd or 4th pick. Being his contract year he will put up some big numbers like he has in years past. In 2014 he lead the NL in SO tied with Johnny Queto at 242. I'm not saying he will lead the NL in strikeouts again but I am saying he is capable of big-time stats and with the pitching drop-off after the top 10 rounds, he is well worth the pick.
