Hisashi Iwakuma, who missed ten weeks in 2015 due to injury, and had a deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers voided this offseason due to a failed physical, was perfect in two innings on Sunday against the Texas Rangers. (ESPN)

Iwakuma is expected to be the Mariners second starting pitcher going into the season, a position he has held for the past few years with skill. Iwakuma is always an injury risk, but when healthy has been one of the most effective pitchers in the American League.
