Hanley Ramirez hits first HR of spring

by Chris McCoy | Sat, Mar 12th 7:45pm EST

Hanley Ramirez went 1-for-3 Saturday against the Twins. His lone hit was a home run in the fourth inning off reliever Nefi Ogando. Ramirez is now hitting .333 on the spring with a .975 OPS.

Fantasy Impact:

So far this spring, Ramirez has demonstrated the mechanics and approach that made him one of the best pure hitters in baseball once upon a time. While he will start the season with only OF eligibility, Hanley projects to earn his 1B and CI eligibility within the first two weeks. With a current ADP of 122 Ramirez is coming off the board as a third OF. Feel good about taking him there and hope that he has a bounce back season and turns into a high number two or low number one OF.
