Matt Moore pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings on Saturday. He retired the final nine batters he faced and struck out three batters, walking none.
Fantasy Impact:
Moore has looked sharped this spring so far. He also finished last season going 2-1 with a 2.97 ERA in September, so there are encouraging signs that his earlier struggles from his Tommy John surgery return may be behind him. He is a nice sleeper pick in mixed fantasy leagues.
