Starting at center field on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers, Carlos Gomez could not get a hit. He went 0-for-0, while drawing a walk. Gomez holds his average this spring at .231 so far.
Fantasy Impact:
It is admirable that he got on base. At the same time, Gomez needs to step up his hitting, or he could find himself on the bench, perhaps worse. Fantasy owners may not want to rush on drafting Gomez right now.
