Denard Span exited Wednesday's game after jamming his shoulder while diving for a ball in the outfield. His status is unclear, as the team expects to provide an update Thursday morning. (Andrew Baggarly on Twitter)

The Giants expressed concern over the injured Span, but it's still too early to tell what his time frame for returning to action is.
