Matt Cain, in his first Spring Training start, threw 51 pitches and gave up three earned runs on seven hits.
Fantasy Impact:
Cain is working his way back from a multitude of surgeries and arm issues, so getting 51 pitches in is a win in and of itself. The hurler was once a top-20 pitching option but health and ineffectiveness has moved him completely off the fantasy radar outside the deepest of leagues. He has a long road back to even NL-only relevance.
