Huge Spring Training has Miguel Cabrera geared up for 2016

Miguel Cabrera has a .324 batting average, three home runs, and eight RBI in 34 at-bats this spring, showing that he is ready to roll in 2016. Although 2015 was a lost season for the Tigers, Cabrera still posted a .338 batting average in 119 games played, clubbing 47 extra base hits.

Fantasy Impact:

Injuries saw Cabrera's stock drop a bit, but the addition of Justin Upton to the middle of the lineup, which already has J.D. Martinez, will give more opportunities for run production from Cabrera. He has knocked in at least 103 runs in each full season since 2004 and his .338 batting average in 2015 is in line with the highest marks of his career. At 33-years-old, Cabrera may not be at the top of his career anymore, but if he can post 30 or more home runs with a batting average in the mid-.320s, he can be a top-10 hitter.
