Evan Longoria goes 2-for-4 in Rays loss

Evan Longoria went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the Rays' Opening Day loss to the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Longoria needed some extra rest before the start of the season, so the Rays decided to hold him out to close out Grapefruit League play. The extra rest proved helpful, as he doubled in his first at-bat, and singled in the Rays first run of the season in the third. Longoria has exceeded 600 at-bats and 20 homers for three-straight seasons. 2016 should be a continuation of the same.
