Hitting in the fourth hole, Marte did not record a hit against the St. Louis Cardinals pitching staff. Marte finished 0-for-4 in the game with a strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
Marte is going to have plenty of opportunities to drive in runs this season, but it wasn't his day today. He wasn't the only Pirates' player to struggle today, so expect a better performance moving forward. Still, Marte is a mid-to-high end outfielder in all leagues.
