Ian Desmond goes 0-for-4 in opener

Ian Desmond started in left field on Monday's Opening Day matchup against the Mariners and was hitless, going 0-for-4 while striking out twice.
Fantasy Impact:
Not the start Desmond owners were hoping for, but it was the first game of the season and it was a tough matchup against Felix Hernandez, who allowed just one hit in the six innings he pitched against the Rangers. Despite his hot spring, it could take Desmond and most players a few games before they really get going.
