Prince Fielder got on base three times Friday night going 1-for-3 with an RBI single in the first inning. Fielder scored a run and was walked twice.

Fielder got things going for the Rangers offense in the first inning Friday by driving in the first run. Fielder later scored and drew a pair of walks later in the game. As the first week of baseball comes to an end, Fielder owners have to feel good about how he has played. Prince has shown a bit of everything this week, driving in runs, getting base hits, a home run and having patience at the plate drawing walks.
